FISH TACOOOOOOS

By: Shannice Vegafria & Patrick Ong
Some people aren't a fan of fish, were one of them. But we tried to do something to change our perspective about fish, who knew fish can be our favorite too! So we tried substituting it to a dish that we like, Tacos. We just adjusted the texture by adding bread crumbs so that it won't be soggy. We had fun experimenting on this project. Try it! ;)

Ingredients:

·      8 pieces Taco Shell
·      226.8 grams Bangus (Fillet)
·      3 tablespoon Olive Oil
·      5 grams sliced (diagonally) Jalapeños
·      ½ cup Taco Seasoning (
·      ½ cup water
·      1 cup Bread Crumbs

Sauce
·      ½ cup Sour cream
·      1 Lemon, juice
·      5 grams chopped Spring onions

Toppings
·      10 grams shredded Cabbage
·      10 grams shredded Red Cabbage
·      2 tomatoes
·      1 cup grated cheddar cheese
·      Tabasco (optional)

·      Salt & Pepper, to taste

dProcedure:
  1. Season your Bangus with Salt & Pepper.
  2. In a medium pan, pour in your Olive oil and sauté your Jalapenos, not too brown just enough for the oil in the Jalapenos to come out.

  3. Set aside the Jalapenos then Pan-fry your fillets.

  4. After cooking your fillets, let it cool and shred or mince your fillets.
  5. In a medium sized sauce pan, place in your shredded Bangus with the Taco Seasoning and water, let it simmer for a minute then place in your bread crumbs, mix then cover for 3-5 minute.
  6. While waiting, do your sauce. Mix sour cream, lemon juice, spring onion and salt and pepper to taste.
  7.  Fill your tacos with: Bangus (fish) layer it with tomatoes, sauce, and cabbages and top it off with your grated cheese. Add your Tabasco if you like.
  8. Serve. Enjoy!
